Norway and China have signed an agreement to reduce methane emissions from livestock and waste management, contributing to global climate goals. The initiative, running from 2024 to 2027 with a budget of 15.6 million NOK, aims to support China’s carbon neutrality by 2060 and improve air quality. Methane, a potent greenhouse gas, accounts for 30% of global warming since the industrial revolution.
