Researcher at the Chinese Research Academy of Environmental Sciences (CRAES). Long-term engagement in research on Greenhouse gases (GHGs) inventory compiler and the calculation method, climate change mitigation, climate change impacts and adaptation, air pollution and control. Served as director member of the 28th China Meteorological Society, expert of the greenhouse Gas Clearance Assessment Group of the Secretariat of the UNFCCC, lead author of the IPCC Special Report of “2019 Inventory Guideline Refinement”, member of the National Technical Committee on Low Carbon Economic metrology, International Journal of Climate Change strategies and the advances in climate change research, environmental science research and progress in the study of climate change member of the editorial board.

Served as lead author of the fourth Climate Change assessment report (AR4) of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) and special Report “Guidelines for greenhouse Gas Inventories, 2006”, contributing lead author of the IPCC Fifth Assessment report (AR5). Served as expert of the Emissions Factor Database (EFDB) of the IPCC Ad Hoc Working Group on Greenhouse Gas Inventories.
